Ingredients
- 1.5 ltr Dry Red Wine (the one you like)
- 2 Orange
- 1 Granny Smith Apple
- 1 Lemon
- 6 Dried Pears
- 6-7 Dried Apple Rings
- 4 Cinnamon Stick
- 6 Clove
- 3 Star Anise
- 4-5 tbsp Honey
- 2-3 cups Water

Instructions
- Prepare all the required ingredients.
- Slice oranges and lemon. Cut apple, dried apple rings and dried pears into cubes.
- Use a large pot. Put water, fruits, dried fruits and all spices in the pot. Make sure the water covers almost everything. Bring to a boil and let simmer for about 5 min.
- Reduce the heat to low, add wine (yes, the entire bottle) and honey. Mix everything well and let the wine warm up slowly. DO NOT LET IT BOIL!!!
- Taste the wine to see if you want to add more honey to make the glintwine sweeter.
- It will take about 15 min. for a wine to get to the right temperature, which is just before the boiling stage. After that, turn off the heat and let the glintwine sit for a while to fully absorb the fruits and spices.
- Serve in a thick glass. Garnish with a slice of orange. Bon Nuppetie!
