Nut and Dried Fruit Immunity Boosting Candies

This mix of nuts, dried fruits, lemon zest and honey (optional) provides all the vitamins necessary for your body to fight cold and flu. Pair a couple of these candies with a hot ginger tea and stay healthy!

- 1 part Medjool Dates
- 1 part Walnuts
- 1 part Dried Apricots
- 1 part Dark Raisins
- 1 cup Pecan Pieces Raw
- 1 cup Coconut Slices
- 1 Lemon (organic)

Instructions
- Prepare all the required ingredients. Use equal parts of each main ingredient measuring by weight.
- Use a food processor to crush the walnuts. Make sure you do not over process the nuts.
- Continue with dates (remove the pit before processing), apricots and raisins. Make sure each product is crushed into a smooth mass.
- Zest a lemon.
- In a bowl mix walnuts, dates, apricots, raisins and lemon zest. If you like you can also add some honey. Knead as a regular dough until all walnuts are evenly mixed in and the mass feels sticky. Set aside.
- Chop coconut slices and crush pecans into small pieces (not a flour).
- Start making candies – roll nut and dried fruit mass into balls, then roll the balls in either chopped coconut or crushed pecans.
- Store candies in the fridge. Serve at the room temperature. And don't forget a cup of hot ginger tea for even better results! Bon Nuppetie!
