Instructions
- Prepare all the required ingredients.
- If the cottage cheese is very watery, use sieve to remove as much liquid as possible.
- Place cottage cheese in a bowl. Add sugar, salt, chia seeds and egg. Mix it all together. Add 2 to 4 tbsp of flour depending on the consistency of the mixture - we are looking for a smooth mass that can be shaped.
- Chop the raisins into smaller pieces. Mix them into the cottage cheese.
- Warm a pan on medium heat, add 2-3 tbsp coconut oil. Place a tray/plate with some flour near the stove.
- Form a small ball of cottage cheese mixture. Dip it in the flour and make sure it is evenly covered. Press the ball slightly to form a cake. Place on a frying pan. Repeat with the rest of the mixture.
- Fry cakes for a couple minutes on each side until golden and puffed. Remove from the pan and let them cool down.
- Enjoy with fruits, honey or sour cream! Bon Nuppetie!
